Magazine Masks

This is actually a really easy page to do. I found a magazine ad featuring a model that looked relatively simple to cut out. Once I’d prepped the background I used the cut out as a mask and edged it in acrylic paints. By the time I got to the 4th image, the mask was somewhat hard to work with, but once it dries it can be used again. I really like this idea because, depending on your mood, your silhouette can change often as opposed to buying a stencil and using the same silhouette over and over again. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
